Just went and saw Dark Shadows. Johnny Depp was great as Barnabas Collins (he does weird guys SO well!) If you are a fan of the TV show, years ago as I was....you'll "get it". Dr. Julia was an older, not attractive woman, on the TV show...and the mother was actually Joan Bennett, the film actress...on the TV show.
Willie Loomis, Barnabas' sidekick, in the movie, was Jackie Earle Haley, recently on the TV show Human Target.And....of all things......Alice Cooper (the musician) did a cameo appearance!
