After the storm.......

Rain has been all aound us, today....but about 6 pm it finally unleashed on us! Glorious hour of rain!
Anyway, after the storm we had a beautiful rainbow with a really faint twin!

Jimmy and I went up on the roof deck with a tripod and my Lumix camera, and I got these pictures! Pretty amazing, huh?

Moving Day!

Furniture is finally here!
EXCEPT......
They forgot my mom's roll top desk, 2 curio cabinets, the china cabinet that I have all my Nascar die cast cars in, 2 dining room chairs and who knows what else ( I'm thinking another small curio cabinet), in Fort Worth!
 The good news is that they found them and they will be here in a week or so.

AUGHHHH! Found 3 bull snakes while digging for a drainage pipe.

Granite guy..

Bobby Serna, the granite guy, is cutting the marble and granite for the  windowsills.

Shadow and Sheena are tolerating eachother.......she just wants to play and sleep next to him, but he's a grumpy old man....might take awhile!

Elevator arrives!

The elevator got here on Friday afternoon, so they are planning to get it installed over the weekend.....39 ft.tall!

Hanging the fan over the stairway....!

After the first time of hanging the fan.....when we turned on the switch......something popped and smoke poured out....so down it came!
Jimmy took it all apart, found where the wires touched and burned, fixed it and we re-hung it this morning!
